Frederic Bard
CEO & Scientific Co-Founder
Dr. Frederic Bard is the scientific co-founder and Chief Executive Officer of Albatroz Therapeutics. He is also Director of Research at the Centre national de la recherche scientifique (CNRS), and a team leader at the Cancer Research Centre in Marseille, France.
Fred spent 15 years at A*STAR, Singapore. He started his research group at the Institute of Molecular and Cellular Biology in 2006, was a Senior Principal Investigator, and served as the institute’s Chief Innovation Officer. Previously, Fred did his postdoctoral work at the University of California San Diego, where he identified the TANGO genes, a set of genes essential to protein secretion.
Fred did his graduate work at Yale University and at the Ecole Normale Superieure of Lyon, France, where he took his PhD.
